Meet Madison!  Madison is one of FIVE sisters, one of which I have already had the pleasure of working with several years ago as one of my very first models!  I just love it when I get to watch my clients grow up!  Now Madison will be a senior next year and I am thrilled beyond words to have snagged this cutie as part of our model team.

Madison is one cool chick and a dedicated student too!  This cheerleader has hopes of becoming a sonogram tech when she graduates from college so she can support her sour gummy worm habit.

When Maddie isn’t on the field cheering on the yellow jackets, you can find her hanging at home with her family or scrolling through her feed on Twitter.  If you want to get on her good side, pretty much bring her anything blue and an ice cold Root beer and that ought to do it!

Maddie’s accessories were styled by Glamour2U (Jewelry) and Soleful Heart (Cheetah print Flats) in the historical Wright Plaza in downtown Cleburne.

Meet Allie!  I had THE best time photographing Allie’s Big Sis McKenzie so I knew Allie was a MUST have for our model team this year.  I was so excited when she joined us.  I mean, seriously, how cute is this girl!!

Allie is more than just a pretty face though, she’s a serious brain too.  She’s a member of the Exchangette’s at CHS and a memeber of the National Honor Society.  Go girl!!  Allie has had a brush with the starts as well, she met one of her favorite celebs, Kylie Jenner and was able to check that off her bucket list.

If you want to hang out with Allie, you better bring some coffee and pie because those are some of her most favorite things, and you will never find her without lipstick in her purse – I mean that’s just a given.

Image Contest – First Place: Most Inspirational | SW Fort Worth Senior Portrait Photographer

I’m so excited to announce that Evangeline Images’ submission to the seniorologie senior superlatives image contest has won FIRST PLACE in the category of Most Inspirational!

This image was the last one of the night and was set up on the football field of the local high school. Josh, a senior near and dear to my heart for his bravery and positive attitude in the face of adversity, was such a trooper as I directed him for this image. He didn’t even bat an eye as we poured water all over him and rubbed dirt into his face.
Making this image just so much more meaningful was the fact that almost in the exact location on the field where we shot was where Josh had taken a hard hit and sustained a broken ankle which kept him out of the rest of the season his senior year.
After talking to his mom, Sarajane, during our consultation prior to the session, I learned that Josh has been a fighter his entire life. He battled a childhood illness and never complained or lost his positive attitude. I began to form the idea for this shot long before we walked onto the field and seeing the finished product with so much emotion and strength literally brought me to tears.

Briana’s Senior Session | SW Fort Worth Senior Photographer

When I met Briana, I could tell instantly she was a deep thoughtful person with a sweet heart and quiet spirit.  After our consultation we decided to give a morning session a shot.  In the boiling heat of Texas summer’s, the morning seemed like a cool option!  As with all of Evangeline Images senior sessions, we started her hair and make up style about two hours before the session, which in this case was about 6 am!!

Wow is that early on a Saturday!!!  But Briana and her mom was super friendly even in the wee hours of the morn and Bri looked and felt AAHHH-mazing!

We trapsed through the local park for a while and discovered that, in fact, mornings are NOT much cooler; but Bri pulled it off like a pro and posed her little heart out.    A super special moment I’ll always remember is capturing portraits of Bri in her step-dad’s work shirt.  It was such a tender moment as Bri and her mom paid tribute to a very special person who left them much too soon.  I know that he would be proud of the beautiful and sweet young lady Briana is.

Following our country chic location was a quick visit to downtown Cleburne, where I’m always amazed by the new and interesting places we find to capture great portraits!  The morning light gave us opportunities to shoot in places where evening light didn’t allow and once again, Bri was awesome and smiled right through all the posing instructions.   She made each pose look effortless and natural!

Our session was finally wrapped up this week with Bri’s premiere ordering session where her mom and grandma were so amazingly sweet and I even got to hang out with her adorable little cousin.  He had the cutest little laugh!

I just have to share some of our favorites from this experimental morning session!  And as always, I’m so blessed to be able to do what I love!
